Day 28: Please place your tray tables in their upright positions

Looks like de-icer saved (ruined?) the day. I think I would have been alright with a cancelled flight.

Day 28: Blizzard Warning

Do you realize that if the Iowa City Schools are cancelled, I instantly lose 2/3 of what I'm supposed to do tomorrow? Well, it's true. But there's plenty else I could be doing instead. Like mailing sunglasses back.....Dangit!

Day 14: Happy Birthday MLKJ

Remember those days when you came in the house as a kid and your mittens were soaking wet from playing out in the snow, building snowmen and igloos with your moms bread pans? Today was one of those days. Build a snowman, it's good for your health.  Picture below: freezing rain on the window when I woke up this morning, almost pleasant until I saw that my car was also covered in ice. I had a great weekend with Hannah and made it safely home to Iowa City this morning, so all is well.
